PHP and C#

I hope that PHP is the best for web based application development for the following reason.

1.Since php is very native to linux/unix based platforms, almost all the related software like mysql, apache are free for the users. So the development cost related with software will be Zero.
2.Naturally all the linux/unix web related applications/software will provide better performance while comparing it with windows based software, the web application which will be developed using php will deliver better performance in terms of speed.
3.Even, the php version for windows also available on free of cost.
