IP over DWDM Simulation using NS2 to Measure The Performance

    There is a WDM extension available for ns2.
    http://www.eecs.wsu.edu/~dawn/software/owns.html

    But I hope that DWDM can not be simulated on ns2 or Matlab since it seems there is only limited support for this in both of this platforms.

    There seems a possibility to simulate DWDM networks with OPNET simulator (with SP Guru® Transport Planner).
    But I am not sure abouts it default availability with the freely available student version of the OPNET simulator. (kindly post a reply if I am wrong)

    Thank you for the information Sir.

    The link on http://www.eecs.wsu.edu/~dawn/software/owns.html is working but when I’m going to download the source code on http://www.eecs.wsu.edu/~dawn/software/owns-src.tar.gz, the link given me error message. I think the server refer to this link is broken.

    Is there any other download link from where I can download the source code for “owns” software?

    The download link seems to be a broken one. Contact the Author for another link to download it.

    or you may download(copy-past) separate files from the following google code search link.(but it will need lot of patience and experience to make it work)

    I find a paper which title is “IP over WDM Module For The NS-2 Simulator” and created by Renato T. R. da Silva. I have read about it but I can’t find the way to contact the author. If it is possible, I would like ask for the source code for their work.
