AICTE GUIDELINES FOR MTECH PROJECT

As such there is no guidelines. (As far as I know). There are many ways of doing a project, some are mentioned below:
1. Thesis @ college
2. Thesis @ Company or research center
3. Working models @college
4. Working Model @ Company
For option 2 and 4 , one has to contact a company and fetch an internship opportunity there. for 1 and 3, the student can carry out the project at college it self.
In both the cases, I will prefer to go for some thing innovative which interests the student. A scheduled approach is the best one, which contains a timeline for every thing from literature survey to thesis or report submission.
